Vacuum MSK-200-SH is an innovative tape casting coater to make a lithium film on copper foil. The coater uses a heatable slot-die and a fixed gap blade on a fixture with precision wheels. Lithium molten will be extruded into the heated slot-die, then cast the melt on the copper foil, which is sucked by the heated vacuum bed. The heated blade will scrape over the melt following the slot-die to form one sheet of precision lithium film after the casting fixture passes through the heated vacuum bed stably. This method may make 15 - 50 micron-thick lithium film in an Ar gas glovebox.

Application note	We cannot guarantee that the customer will be 100% successful in coating the Lithium film. The customer must find the best parameters by themselves through experimentation Lithium molten wets with the substrate is very important. You use OZ cleaning ot plasma etching to pre-treat the substrate to improve wetting capability The device shall be used in a glovebox with an Ar atmosphere.
