1" O.D alumina tube can be used at operating temperature up to 1700 ^oC in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. Tubes have been evacuated to 10^-7 Torr. It proves inert for carbon and refractory metals in many severe situations.

Please keep the thermal gradient less than 100°C/ inch to avoid cracking in the multi-zone tube furnace Please use a crucible to separate parts from the inside surface of the tube to avoid thermal shock. Application Notes	To get longer tube service life, please use a quartz or alumina crucible to carry the sample, instead of loading the sample directly inside the tube, please click here to choose a crucible boat
