Desk-Top 800W Ultrasonic Metal Welder with Touch-Screen Digital Controller, 40KHz - MSK-800W

MSK-800W is a CE Certified ultrasonic metal welder with a color touch-screen controller. It is designed for welding stacked electrode sheets (Copper & Aluminum) and tabs onto current collectors to prepare Li-ion pouch cells in R&D laboratories. (MSK-800W is the updated version for MSK-800 on August 2014.)

MTI has granted the patent 201920351987.X for the Ultrasonic Tab Welding Machine MSK-800W since November 2019.

  • Welding time, delay time, welding layers...adjustable, click Pic. "Program Setup Interface" to see details.
  • Preset welding programs selectable for Al and Cu (Note: Welding power can be readjusted to fit the needs for welding other types of metals such as Au, Fe, Ni, Ag...);
  • Up to four recipes can be stored in the Al or Cu welding programs. 
  • Amp meter provides instant monitoring of the welding current

Welding Head
  • Two sets of welding heads and welding bases are included for welding both aluminum & copper current collectors from 1 to 15 layers
  • One set of the welding head and base is pre-installed.
  • Three-pin welding heads and single-long welding heads are available for high throughput welding for both aluminum and copper current collectors. Please click here for more options.
  • The three-pin head can be used with only 5 or fewer layers.
Fixture (Optional)

The fixture is available as request. The default fixture size is for 4662 pouch cell. The pouch cell size should be given if customer need a customized fixture. 

The pedal will be gradually cancelled and "double press buttons" feature will be released.
Pneumatic Control (Not included)
 Air pressure at 85 psi is required for the operation (Air Compressor is not included. Please click here to order)
Attention: If a gas cylinder is used instead of an air compressor(pic2), a two-stage pressure regulator(pic1) must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure within the required working range for safe operation. Click here to learn about the installation of a gas regulator.
KF40 Feedthrough 


  • The KF40 Feedthrough is included for the glovebox with Ar gas condition.
