MSK-140 (upgraded from MSK-113A) is a CE Certified compact heating sealer for sealing aluminum-laminated films during pouch cell case preparation. It is used for sealing the side and top of the pouch cell with the tab before injecting electrolyte at the outside of glove box. A new version MSK-140L with a large working area is available now!

  • (An air compressor is required, but not included. pls order at your store or the related product below )
  • Note: If a gas cylinder is used instead of an air compressor(pic2), a two-stage pressure regulator(pic1) must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure within the required working range for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
Sealing Temperature 50 - 250 °C adjustable with controlling accuracy +/-2 °C [However, the suggested temperature for top and bottom blade is 200°C and 180°C, respectively]
Sealing Blade Type Soft sealing blade (blade with rubber, good for Al case sealing and case with tab in between)
Air Consumption 0.09 L / Sealing
Heating Timer 0 - 99 Seconds Adjustable
Certification CE Certified
NRTL or CSA certification is available upon request at the extra cost.

  • Suggested Sealing Parameter: 
    • Upper Heating Blade Temperature: 200°C
    • Lower Heating Blade Temperature: 180°C
    • Pressure: 40 psi
    • Duration: 3 seconds
  • Please wait until both dies reached the Setting temperature, then begin to operate.
  • The compact design enables the operation inside the glove box with Ar atmosphere where Lithium-Sulfur, Lithium Air, Lithium Solid-State, or Li-ion half cell will be assembled.
