Semi-Automatic Die Cutter for Pouch Cell Electrodes (Max. 200 Lx200W, mm) & Optional Compatible to Glovebox - MSK-180-N

MSK-180-N is a precision semi-automatic die cutter for pouch cell electrode sheets (Max. 200mm L x 200mm W).
It is an upgraded version of MSK-180, providing improved stability and higher precision in reducing the burr formation and powder shedding on electrodes. A glovebox-compatible version is also available。
A necessary tool in the production line of pouch cells to produce specific shapes of cathodes and anodes with current collector tabs. The size of the electrodes it cuts perfectly matches the standard pouches made by the MSK-120 cups forming machine, and the shape of the electrodes it produces is also handy for the later processing steps of tab welding by MSK-800 and electrode stacking by MSK-111A. The IR sensor (Safety Curtain) built in the front of the machine ensures operation safety when electrode sheets are fed from the front.

    • Anode Die: 58 mm (L) x 45 mm (W) with a 13 mm (L) x 11 mm (W) protruding current collector
  • 2 pcs of electrodes can be produced per cut.
  • Customized dies with Max. dimension 200mm L x200mm W, including current collector, available at extra cost.
Safety Sensor
  • Built-in IR sensor (Safety Curtain) to protect against hand injuries during electrode feeding.
Cutting Accuracy
  • ±0.1mm
Air Cylinder
  • 0.5-0.8MPa Air Pressured
  • 3 Tons Max. Pressure
Attention: If a gas cylinder is used instead of an air compressor(pic2), a two-stage pressure regulator(pic1) must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure within the required working range for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator
