MSK-TE901-C is UL standard Short Circuit Test system designed for testing rechargeable batteries & packs under short circuit conditions with high current <1000A.

Advanced Features

Power Control Console


  • Digital voltage and current display
  • Two Silicon insulated electrical cables (95mm², 2 meters long) are included

  • Service life: > 300K times of use
  • Note: You may connect a resistor to reach 80 mΩ resistance according to your battery 
Touch Screen Control Panel
  • 7" Color touchscreen control panel for setting and displaying the parameters.
  • Once the parameter is set on the screen, a wireless hand-held remote controller will operate a machine within 10 meters of distance for the safest operation.

  • Temperature: 25±3 °C ; RH: 30~90RH(%)
  • Avoid electromagnetic interference
Testing Chamber
  • NRTL certified Testing Chamber is included with the dimension of W450mm × D540mm × H540mm, 131 L Capacity
  • Calibrated at 200°C max capability.
  • Testing temperature is 55±2 °C
  • Max. battery or battery pack to be tested (150 x 150 x 30 mm). For a larger battery size, please choose a large heating chamber as in the picture below
Fire Extinguisher for Safety (Optional, but highly recommended)
  • For battery pack testing, short-circuit caused overheating will induce fire. Inert gas purging and fire extinguisher are two options to consider.
  • (1) Nitrogen gas extinguishing fixture (Pic. 1 below)
    • The oven is built-in a stainless steel tube that connects to a nitrogen tank with the over-temperature switch. When the battery is firing when and causes the temperature to raise, the nitrogen gas valve will open automatically to Extinguish the fire. This system is only suitable for a single-cell test ( not for > 50WH battery pack ).
    • Nitrogen Cylinder and cart are not included.
    (2) Automatic Fire Extinguisher system (Pic. 3 below)
    • The fixture can install 2 - 6-liter Extinguisher as recommended below, and connect the spraying pipe to the oven
    • When chamber temperature reaches a high alarm setting (which is 2-3 higher than setting value), the system will lower the clamp to open the valve of extinguisher to spray extinguishing material.
    • The fire extinguisher is not included. Please click the Picture below to order a Class D extinguisher ( P/N Amerex B570) for lithium battery from the manufacturer directly
    (3) Double protection Extinguisher (Picture. 4 below)
    Combine both Nitrogen gas extinguisher fixtures and Separated fire extinguishers
