900°C Max Rotary Tube Furnace with 8" ID 310S Alloy Tube & Optional Heating Zones - GSL-900X-8-R

GSL-900X-8-R  is a rotary tube furnace with an 8" ID 310S alloy tube and 900ºC max working temperature, as well as an optional heating zone of 600 mm or 900 mm length.  It is designed for the calcining of metal oxide and inorganic compounds continuously with a yield of 5-10 kg/day, especially good for preparing Li-Ion battery cathode materials, such as LiFePO3 and LiMnNiO3, etc in the R&D Laboratory.

  • Double shell casing with the air cooling fan
  • High purity Alumina fibrous insulation for max. energy saving
  • Splittable cover for easy replacement table
  • 310S high-temperature alloy processing tube with stirring blades up to 900ºC
  • The 8" ID quartz tube is replaceable for 1100ºC working temperature
Heating Zone length
Two types of heating zones are selectable
  • Two heating zones: 300 + 300 (mm) with a total 600 mm length
  • Three  heating zones: 300+300+300 (mm) with a total 900 mm length
Processing tube and flanges
  • Made of 310S high-temperature alloy:  210 mm O.D x 200mm I.D
    • Two-zone heating:    1500 mm
    • Three-zone heating: 1800 mm
  • Continuous working temperature:    900ºC at 0.2 MP
  • 4 string blades are welded inside the tube
  • Each heating zone is controlled by an independent programmable temperature controller
  • Rotable air-tight flanges are included with a KF25 vacuum port and 1/4 " gas inlet
Temperature Controllers
  • Two or three digital controllers with PID/self-tuning functions and 30 segments programmable.
  • Thermocouple: K-type thermocouples (one for each zone)
  • Control accuracy: +/- 1°C
  • Eurotherm 3000 Temperature Controllers with ± 0.1ºC accuracy  is available upon request at the extra cost
Tube rotating Speed
  •  0.3 - 8 RPM variable
Furnace tilt
  •  0 - 15o

  • 208 - 240 V, single phase, 50 A, 8 kVA for the two-zone furnace
  • 208 - 240 V, three phase, 40 A, 12 kVA for the three-zone furnace
