Features:

  • One high-purity Alumina cylindrical crucible with a covering lid for chemical calcining, metal casting, and ceramic sample preparation.
  • Dimension:
    • Crucible: 4.5 mm OD; 3.5 mm ID; 5 mm Height
      • Lid: 4.5 mm Diameter; 1 mm Height.

  • Shape: Cylindrical, as the picture shown
  • Purity: Al2O3 > 99.5% ; Fe2O3 < 0.01%
  • 100% impervious
  • Density: > 3.8 g /cm3
  • Capacity: ~ 0.03 ml
  • Max. working temperature: 1750°C or 3180°F
  • Please notice that there is a small hole in the lid.

 

  • Note: Never heat and cool faster than 5°C/min. Otherwise, the crucible may crack.
  • Alumina crucibles are made by casting method, which does not have precise dimensions.
