1100C Max Air-tight Swing Quenching Furnace - 2" OD Tube - GSL-1100X-S-VTQ

GSL-1100X-S-VTQ is a compact-quenching tube furnace with 2" OD quartz tube up to 1100°C and vacuum sealed flange and quenching tank. The sample can be placed inside the tube and heated to the desired temperature under vacuum or controlled atmosphere, then tilt the furnace and slide the sample to the quenching tank. It is an excellent tool to study material phase 
  • Double layer steel structure with air cooling
  • Split door design for easy installation of tube
  • High purity Al2O3 fibrous insulation designed for maximum energy saving

Temperature Controller
  • 30 programmable segments for precise control of heating rate, cooling rate and dwell time.
  • Built in PID Auto-Tune function with overheating & broken thermocouple protection.
  • Over temperature protection and alarm allows for operation without attendant(s).
  • +/- 1 ºC temperature accuracy.
  • Euro-Thermo precision controller with +/- 0.1 ºC accuracy is optional from production bar

Flange and queching tank
  • Standard 1/4‘’ Barbed fittings with needle valves and the mechanical vacuum gauge are installed on the left of the tube with quick clamp
  • Gas outlet, KF 25 vacuum port valve and quenching tank are installed on the right of the tube.
  • The quenching tank size: 100 mm ID x 80mmL, ~ 500ml capacity, which may contain water or mineral oil for quenching
Furnace Tilting
  • The furnace is tiltable up to 60 degrees, which allow the sample slide into the quenching tank.

Vacuum Level
  • 10-2 torr by the mechanical pump
  • 10-4 torr by the turbo pump

Gas Purification and Circulation
(Optional)
  • RMP-1 is an automatic recirculating moisture and oxygen purification system, which can provide an environment with moisture and oxygen concentration lower than 1 ppm for MTI's furnaces and gloveboxes. 
  • Two-columns of Molecular sieves are Built-in in the system. One is for removing oxygen and another is for removing moisture up to < 1 PPM
  • The automatic pressure control system is built in to keep the pressure at a constant level
  • 6" color PLC touch panel is included which can set and display the humidity and pressure level
  • Oxygen sensor and moisture sensors are included. 

Laptop & software (Optional)

   
  • Brand new laptop with Microsoft Window 10 and Microsoft Office 2013 (30 days free trial) for immediate use.
  • Labview Based Temperature Control System (MTS01)enables the user to edit temperature profile, manage heat-treatment recipe, record and plot data for MTI furnaces.
  • A wireless remote control provides up to 300 meters operating range.

  • Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
  • Vacuum limit for all quartz tube furnaces: * Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1000°C 
  • The flow rate for gasses should be limited to<200 SCCM (or 200ml/min) for reducing thermal shocks to the tube

Description
